Juniors

Our junior section is happy, thriving and expanding and we will give a warm welcome to any junior who wishes to join us.  Our aim is to develop skilled confident and well mannered juniors who will be a credit to themselves and to High Post Golf Club.  There is no minimum age.

To facilitate this we have set up:-

  • A junior committee
  • A junior academy coaching programme
  • Girls only coaching sessions
  • A handicap system that will help juniors gain an official CONGU handicap
  • An Award of Merit Stableford competition for both handicapped and non handicapped players which engenders fun and friendship within the junior section.  A series of adult/junior competitions with, or against the ladies section, the senior section and the board and committee members.  Our aim is to integrate our juniors firmly into the club.
  • Children in Golf - High Post Golf Club has adopted the Children in Golf Policy and adheres to the procedures recommended.  Full details of the policy/procedures can be obtained from the manager. The club will not tolerate any form of bullying either by an adult or fellow junior.  If you see or suffer from any form of bullying you should inform one of the ‘points of contact' shown below.
